5.3 Make consistent and comparable judgements

Demonstrate understanding of assessment moderation and its application to support consistent and comparable judgements of student learning.

Being consistent is ofcourse crucial for a school to function as a whole. The key approaches that supports this consistency are the Curriculum and its level system that we all work towards. And within schools staff working in teams helps to keep all teachers on the same page.

When reports are written they are checked by other members of the team and consistencies are corrected.  The PLC approach also keeps staff working in a similar way by talking together and having mini PL sessions within the PLC so that everyone is teaching and assessing in the same style.
