6.1 Identify and plan professional learning needs

Demonstrate an understanding of the role of the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers in identifying professional learning needs.

I am aware that Professional teachers have an obligation to be continual learners and plan their own professional learning needs. I recognise that there is always more to learn. 

As part of my work in Education Support I have undertaken an online PD in managing behaviours of concern through the Prevent - Teach - Reinforce model.

I have also identified personal Professional Learning goals and have taken steps to complete this learning, for example I am currently completeing the Winanga-Li Teachers Program.
