6.2 Engage in professional learning and improve practice

Understand the relevant and appropriate sources of professional learning for teachers.

As a practice teachers need to be continuously learning and expanding our own knowledge and understanding so as to give students the best chance of success. 

During my time at Barwon Heads I was lucky to attended Professional Learning focused on Student Voice and how all students have something to teach us ran via Voice and Aspirations and the inspiring teachings of Russ Quaglia (below).  

I have also previously attended Professional Learning on working with trauma affected students ran through Barwon Health and In house Professional development of creating success criteria through using the curriculum.
