6.3 Engage with colleagues and improve practice

Seek and apply constructive feedback from supervisors and teachers to improve teaching practices.

I have repeatedly sought feedback from all staff that I have worked with on placement. This has been my mentors and on a number of occasions I have worked with CRT's when my mentor was not available on the day. 

As a result of this feedback I have been able to improve my own practice. For example on my placement at Leopold primary school it was suggested that I was not managing the class effectively enough and had started to give instruction whilst student were talking to each other. From this feedback I was able to develop a range of techniques for attention grabbing.
